ABQ Healthcare for the Homeless

For over three decades, Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless (AHCH) has served our community as the only health care organization in Central New Mexico dedicated exclusively to providing services to people experiencing homelessness. AHCH provides critical services to over 7,000 men, women, and children every year. By addressing the health-related causes of homelessness, AHCH makes it possible for people to find solutions to end their homelessness.

Delta Dental of NM is proud to support the AHCH Dental Clinic and mobile van (medical and dental services) as they provide a full range of routine, emergency, and preventive dental services across Albuquerque and surrounding areas.

American Heart Association of New Mexico

The American Heart Association of NM is committed to fighting heart disease and stroke and improving the quality of life for all New Mexicans. As the New Mexican Life is Why sponsor, Delta Dental of New Mexico continues to work with the AHA NM to promotethe oral health/heart health connection and promote healthy lifestyles for all New Mexicans.

Meals on Wheels of New Mexico

Founded by a group of women from Albuquerque’s Presbyterian churches in 1972, Meals on Wheels New Mexico was created to provide nutrition, compassion, and friendship to homebound neighbors. What started with 40 volunteers and 20 clients, has grown to 300 volunteers delivering to 2,000 clients each year! 

Delta Dental of New Mexico is proud to partner with Meals on Wheels as they  provide needed nutrition to the homebound while encouraging and increasing both overall health, oral health, and mental health of recipients.

Girls Inc. of Santa Fe

For 65 years, Girls Inc. of Santa Fe (GISF) provides girls (5-18) throughout Santa Fe with life-changing experiences & real solutions to issues girls face. GISF provides both after school, in-school, and summer camp programs for girls in Santa Fe and outlying communities.

New Mexico Dental Association Foundation

New Mexico Dental Association Foundation (NMDAF) works to increase oral health literacy in New Mexico, while also providing direct access to oral health care through several of our outreach programs.

Over the last 18 years NMDAF has provided:

  • $15 million in free treatment to New Mexicans
  • 11,000 professional and community volunteers to over 12,500 clients

Delta Dental of New Mexico is pround to sponsor programs with the NMDAF such as the NM Mission of Mercy and their Free Denture Clinic!

University of New Mexico Children's Hospital

Delta Dental of New Mexico is proud to partner with the UNM Children's Hospital Pediatric Clinic in a new pilot program designed to add preventive dental therapies & case management services through a permanent dental hygienist within UNMCH Peds Clinic, Carrie Tingley Hospital, and UNMH Childrens Hospital (the only full-service children’s hospital in NM).

University of New Mexico Dental Hygiene Fund

Delta Dental of New Mexico is proud to support the UNM Dental Hygiene Program via the UNM Dental Hygiene Fund. The UNM Dental Hygiene fund seeks increase numbers of dental hygienists & promote dental hygiene as a career option across NM.  The UNM Dental Hygiene fund provides dental services to local elementary, and high school students, UNM students, faculty, as well as the general populace of Albuquerque.

Special Olympics of New Mexico

Special Olympics New Mexico (SONM) serves more than 3,700 athletes statewide, offering year-round training and competitions in 11 Olympic-style sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Delta Dental of New Mexico is proud to work with SONM to build inclusive communities, transform lives through sport, and improve the quality of life for our athletes.
