Dental Plans for Small & Large Groups

Delta Dental offers two proprietary networks: Delta Dental PPO™ and Delta Dental Premier®. Putting these two networks together provides wide-ranging access to care as well as out-of-pocket savings for your employees.

With a Delta Dental PPO plan, you are free to see any licensed dentist. However, you will save the most money by visiting a Delta Dental network dentist.

• Delta Dental PPO: Members will save the most with a Delta Dental PPO dentist. Delta Dental PPO network dentists agree to accept our reduced PPO fees as payment in full for dental services. This means they cannot bill members the difference between what they usually charge and what the Delta Dental PPO fee is.

• Delta Dental Premier: Members will pay more with a Delta Dental Premier dentist compared to a Delta Dental PPO dentist. However, they will likely save compared to a non-Delta Dental network dentist. Delta Dental Premier dentists agree to our maximum plan allowance as payment in full, which may be lower than the dentist’s regular fee.

Most plans feature Delta Dental PPO Plus Delta Dental Premier where members can receive in-network benefits from both networks. This offers members more choice and network protections since all Delta Dental network dentists must follow Delta Dental’s processing policies and meet network credentialing standards.

Teledentistry

Promote access to 24/7 virtual dental care. Emergencies happen at the most inconvenient times, like when you're traveling and don't have access to your regular dentist. With Delta Dental of New Mexico coverage, your clients can rest assured knowing they have protection for dental emergencies. Access to Delta Dental Virtual Visits delivered by TeleDentistry.com, and is a covered benefit in most of our dental plans.

The Clean 13 Benefit (for children aged 0-13 years)

Every Child Needs to See the Dentist! Tooth decay can cause a child serious pain, making it hard to eat, sleep and pay attention in school. Make sure your child sees a dentist twice a year to help their teeth grow healthy and strong. Great dental care habits like brushing and flossing start at home, but your child’s teeth need to be examined by a dentist – even before they’ve all come in!

The Clean 13 Benefit is included with our Preventive, Value, Shared, Deluxe, or Ultimate Plans. It is designed to cover children for Diagnostic and Preventive services such as cleanings, sealants, and fillings, at 100% when they utilize an In-Network Provider.
