Our network dentists agree to accept Maximums on what they charge for each service. An out-of-network dentist has not agreed to those Maximums. When you visit a Delta Dental network dentist, you won’t have to pay the difference between what the dentist charges and what Delta Dental will pay, aka Balance Billing.

Finding the right dental provider for your plan:

Lower your out-of-pocket costs by choosing a dentist who participates in the Delta Dental PPO™ or Delta Dental Premier® networks. Dentists in our network agree to accept Delta Dental fees as full payment for covered services, while nonparticipating dentists do not have an agreement with Delta Dental and may charge more than our fees. If you go to a nonparticipating dentist, you will be responsible for the difference between Delta Dental’s allowed fee and the amount charged by the dentist.

To locate a participating dentist in your area, simply visit Find a Dental Provider. If you do not know what network your plan covers, log in to the Member Portal or contact our Customer Service Department at (877) 395-9420, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MST.
